Jonathan C. Montgomery
Executive Vice President & Secretary
Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1991. While a member of the Pi Tau Sigma Honorary Mechanical Engineering Fraternity, he held office as both Treasurer and President.
Beginning full time work for Montgomery Industries International, Inc. in 1991, Jonathan brought with him a passion for organization, quality, excellence and attention to detail for all things big and small. Early on, he led the conversion of drafting and manufacturing into the digital age, heading a major capital investment to blend old school expertise with networked, computerized machine control.
He sees design as an ongoing process of research, understanding, assimilation and improvement. Having embraced that process for decades, he believes in capturing the value of what’s old to make sure it’s not lost in what’s new. With experience in design, manufacturing and product support, he developed the fully redesigned, second generation LRW Grinder in 2009.
